Stallions
Desperado and El Bandito are our homebred and fully graded Hispano Arabe stallions.

Hispano's have been bred in Spain for many years, and were first registered in Britain in 1987. To qualify for registration all Hispano`s have to retain a minimum 25% of either breed. Our stallions are dual registered both in Spain and as part breds with the Arab Horse Society. Hispano`s have to be fully graded before they can enter the Stud Book as breeding stock. The process entails a visit from the grading committee of the Cria Caballar from Spain who conduct a rigorous and comprehensive inspection of the horse.

Hispano`s were originally bred in Spain as stock horses and cavalry remounts. The combination of Arabian and Andalusian breeds creates an athletic, tough, intelligent horse. Very quick to learn they excel in jumping, cross country and high school dressage, they are truly the complete All Rounder.

Desperado

El Bandito
Desperado
15.1hh by Balconero II out of Bint Amazima. Desperado was British National Champion Hispano Arabe in 1999.

El Bandito
15.1hh by Balconero II out of Bint Amazima, El Bandito is unbeaten in the show ring. He was British National Champion Hispano Arabe in 2000 and 2002 and won the Spanish class at the Lusitano Show in 2004

Both stallions will stand at stud to a very limited number of mares in 2008. They both stand at £400.00, our keep charges are very reasonable, and we have a superb equine only veterinary practice who specialise in reproductive work. Hispano’s cross very well with TB’s to create the Tres Sangue, Anglo’s, Arabs, all the breeds of Iberian descent and most natïve breeds.
